YoungBlue on tour

In every town or country DeepBlue tour, we aim to provide workshop opportunities for local musicians to experience our unique approach to music and performance. We have developed a once in a lifetime opportunity for musicians that is an unforgettable experience, a self-esteem booster and most importantly, a lot of fun.

However you experience YoungBlue, we aim to provide an opportunity for players to hone performance skills, learn quirky DeepBlue tunes and tricks, and develop musicality by performing on stage with a professional orchestra.

Our showstopper program is a unique opportunity for local young musicians to meet with the performers and crew of DeepBlue; to workshop a piece of music with DeepBlue involving choreography and creativity; to experience the backstage atmosphere at a professional show and to perform onstage with DeepBlue in the show!

Months before DeepBlue arrives in your town, you can register online for the YoungBlue program – places are limited. YoungBlue resources will then be available to collect from your school or online, which will include sheet music, links to music and videos as well as all the details for your show.

Hi guys, Just want to say thanks so much for an awesome Concert last night. My kids (Angus - drums, George - elec guitar & Bella - violin) all loved the workshop in the afternoon and getting to play with you on stage! So great seeing such awesome musicians encouraging the younger generation. Keep up the great work .

Thank you for inspiring the town and in particular the youth of Margaret River. You will have done wonders for the practice levels of the students.

“What a wonderful experience the Killester String Ensemble girls had at your workshop and concert on Friday 9th September in Dandenong. The girls were very privileged to be able to take part in such a program as they don’t normally get access to such events. It was exactly the type of experience they needed to get them excited about their string playing and to see that it can be fun! Your show was truly electric – we all left on a high and the girls were still buzzing with enthusiasm the following Monday at school. Thankyou for accommodating our group and for providing such a worthwhile and enjoyable experience.”
