Book DeepBlue for your festival or performing arts venue!

DeepBlue offers our signature shows, tailored performances, installations and workshops to suit any event and venue.

DeepBlue sounds like an orchestra, acts like a band, feels like a movie.  Featuring lush strings, electronics and dance the performers’ exquisite playing, precision moves and circus stunts are guaranteed to enthral audiences. They have received huge exposure through their live performances and TV appearances across the country, and at massive festivals in the US and Asia. Performing for the Australian of the Year Awards 2020 broadcast live on ABC, were finalists in one of the highest rated episodes of Australia’s Got Talent and won the Australian Performing Arts Centre Association's Drover Award for Excellent Audience Response.

DeepBlue immerses their audience in powerful music, superb sound by combining the atmosphere of a club with the rich sound of an orchestra and the stage presence of a rock band. They truly engage with the crowd, smiling, dancing, and performing around the entire venue.

Flexibility is a big part of who we are and what we do, we can perform outdoors or in tiny venues, we can bring the full orchestra or just a small part - From large scale spectacular stage shows to installations and intimate workshops, DeepBlue will work with your event team and audiences to create a memorable performance like no other - Let's talk!

"What a magnificent night of music. Deep Blue’s publicity and 30 second TV ad not only lived up to its promise but surpassed it. Seldom have I seen and heard a regional audience get so involved, excited and thrilled by the clever and unique staging of Orchestral pieces. Not only are the musicians talented but they are also characters and entertainers.  The interval performances enthralled the audience of all ages. At the end of the show there was a sustained standing ovation and many requests to me in the Foyer afterwards, “ Please bring them back soon – I know we could all bring another 3 or 4 people each for a second performance.”
Alan Youngson, Manager, Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre

“Deep Blue cajole, bombard the senses, lure, tease and tug at baby boomers, gen Y and younger emotions with their revamps of popular anthems.  Proud and dedicated, this digitally flavoured ensemble's ownership of an invigorating, unique and highly accessible approach to music-making is infectious.”
Gillian Wills, Arts Hub

“Dynamic dance and movement, tight choreography that emphasised rather than distracted from the musical performance, and big bright smiles of highly motivated players shattering the audience’s preconceptions of orchestral music. No sheet music, no sitting (apart from some dangling legs over the front of the stage, or perched atop a prop ladder), no static counting of bars between parts – any break in playing was marked by spirited dancing or acrobatics. Each orchestra member seems fired by zest and zeal that leads to an inspired mix of high ideals and hands on approach to music. A non-stop extravaganza DeepBlue has plenty for classical aficionados and the shortest attention-spanned youngster alike”.
