CreateX: See DeepBlue for Free!

DeepBlue BannerCome and see DeepBlue at the opening of QUT’s new Creative Industries Precinct on Sunday 28th August.   The CreateX Festival showcases the most sophisticated and technically advanced creative education space in Australia.  On the day DeepBlue is performing in three separate shows, Altered States, Garden of Minuscule Delights and the CreateX Finale featuring Kate Miller-Heidke, Carita Farrer Spencer, Naomi Price and dancer Michelle Ryan.

Altered States is a collaboration between DeepBlue and and young people from Autism Queensland’s post school transition program, Studio G. Emerging digital artists from Studio G have created a fantasy narrative with DeepBlue performing within a 3-D environment.  It’s on 11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm & 3:30pm in Room 120, Z9 Building.

The Garden of Minuscule Delights which is a collaboration between DeepBlue and QUT’s Robotics, Science & Engineering, Interactive Visual Design and Creative Industries Faculties pushes the limits of how we can use technology creatively for interactive performances that involve both human and non-human performers. Performances every 15 minutes in Room 130, Building Z9.

The CreateX Finale is on from 6-6:50pm in the forecourt of the new QUT Creative Industries Precinct, 7 Musk Ave, Kelvin Grove.  Come early and enjoy the food stalls.
